Set limits before you start
Choose a fixed entertainment budget and end time before opening a destination. Treat the whole budget as an optional entertainment cost, not money that must be recovered.
Never borrow, use bill money or raise the limit after a loss.
Add a stopping rule
Stop when either the time or money limit is reached. A timer, separate entertainment balance or written plan can make the decision visible before emotions change.
Know the warning signs
Chasing losses, hiding activity, missing bills, increasing stakes to feel the same excitement or feeling unable to stop are reasons to pause and seek support.
Use exclusion and account tools
Ask the independently operated destination about time-outs, deposit limits, account closure and self-exclusion. Do not open a replacement account to bypass a limit.
Ask for support early
Speak with a trusted person or qualified support service when gaming causes stress, debt, conflict or sleep problems. If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency or crisis support.
Private session-limit plan
Tick each item before choosing optional paid entertainment.
